近日，微软Windows Live服务又发布了一款新产品的Beta版，这是一款类似于Google Translate的在线翻译服务，名为Windows Live Translator。据消息称，该服务所采用的技术并不是由微软自主研发，而是由专门从事翻译行业的SYSTRAN公司提供。
与许多在线翻译服务类似的，该服务目前提供片断翻译（最长为500字）及网页翻译两种功能，提供中英互译功能。
